Construction of 250 NOM apartments Bloemenoord

Together with residents and local residents, the design for the new building was created: 250 new-build apartments, spread over two locations in the Bloemenoord district in Waalwijk. These energy-efficient apartments will all be Zero-on-the-Meter (NOM). This means that there is no gas in the house and the residents will cook electrically. A heat pump provides heating and hot tap water. Solar panels will be installed on the roofs of the 5- and 6-storey apartment buildings to generate enough energy. The houses are also well insulated, so they require and lose very little heat.
