KAAP – Amsterdam

On the banks of the IJ, UBA Bouw is building KAAP on behalf of KopGrasWeg (a collaboration between Amvest and COD), consisting of small-scale buildings with a total of 70 panoramic apartments that will be built on an underground parking basement. The plinth of five iconic complexes will house various small offices and commercial spaces. The residential buildings were designed by three different architectural firms, each with their own vision on living and design, with a strong focus on sustainability. Riboton, known as a specialist in precast concrete elements, is also involved in the project. Underneath the buildings is a parking garage for residents' cars, bicycles and scooters. KAAP is located in a prime location in Amsterdam, one of the last spots directly on the water.
