Omschrijving
Westerpark West consists of four separate construction projects carried out by different contractors. One project, 'De Voortuinen', involves converting an existing office into housing. The other projects involve demolishing everything before starting new construction. Westerpark West is being built and designed as a high-quality place to live, work and recreate. Equipped with good facilities for the entire neighbourhood (such as catering, day-care centres) and smart, comfortable buildings (use of sustainable installations and state-of-the-art technology).

The four residential towers on Plot 2B, consisting of 250 apartments, have a special facade finish. This facade finish defines more than just the appearance. On the outside, mineral façade strips are constructed from a thick EPS system. These strips are characterised by their sustainable development.

The character of plot 2B is characterised by the presence of 96 inverted U-shaped structures, which look very much like stacked 'tables'. These are important to the structure and serve to widen the terraces. The upper part of these 'tables', the tabletop, fulfills a double function: on the one hand, as an entrance to the houses, and on the other hand as an outdoor terrace. The extra-wide galleries make both functions possible.
